Original MC4 connectors - Staubli, made of tin-plated copper. The black seal is made of polyamide (PA) with very high resistance to thermal aging.
MC4 connectors are used to connect solar wires and cables to photovoltaic modules. One product set includes a negative and a positive connector with metal contacts.
