The Eastron SDM630 Modbus meter is offered in the latest “V3” version, equipped with an RS-485 port and Modbus-RTU protocol with MID certification. It has two pulse outputs, including one configurable output. The meter has an RS-485 interface, allowing easy reading of measured values via the Modbus-RTU protocol.
Key measurements available from the meter:
Bidirectional active energy measurement: imported, exported, total
Bidirectional reactive energy measurement: imported, exported, total
Measurements of voltage, current, instantaneous active power, instantaneous reactive power separately for each phase
Total active power measurement (positive values – energy consumption, negative values – energy fed into the grid)
Outputs: 2 pulse outputs, 1 RS-485 output, Modbus-RTU protocol

Certified according to EU directive 2014/32/EU
MID certificate number 0120 / SGS0151
Main applications (using Lan Controller v3.5):
Monitoring energy drawn from the grid (import) and fed into the grid (export) considering phase connections
Monitoring other network parameters at the connection point
Controlling additional loads based on the energy balance measured by the meter
Male Cable Connector – used for connecting Hoymiles microinverters, forming a network.
